Basalt Fiber Roving
Basalt roving is a bundle of continuous unidirectional complex basalt fibers.  Often divided into direct roving、assembled roving and bulk roving. In terms of its technical characteristics, basalt roving surpasses S-glass and E-glass in many respects, and is not much inferior to carbon. Basalt roving is extremely heat-resistant: the temperature range for long-term use is from –260°C to +680°C. It can withstand temperatures up to 1000 °C for a short time.

The basalt no-twist roving of our company is basalt roving product which adopts new kiln method and 2400 hole large leakage board. With a series of advantages such as high strength, large modulus, good temperature resistance, good chemical corrosion resistance and good electrical insulation of basalt, the production of homogenized basalt raw materials has excellent performance, stable quality and small dispersion coefficient
Direct Roving
Basalt fiber direct roving is a bundle formed by merging multiple parallel strands or single parallel strands in an untwisted state. 7-13 μ The tensile strength of m untwisted roving is ≥ 0.65N/tex, the elastic modulus is ≥ 95GPa, and the elongation at break is ≥ 2.6%. Basalt fiber not only has high strength, high modulus, and impact resistance comparable to high-tech fibers such as PPTA (poly (p-phenylenediamine) and UHMWPE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), but also has excellent high temperature and light resistance, especially the interface bonding strength with resin. Therefore, various specifications of basalt untwisted roving can be used for weaving, winding, and weaving various composite material prefabricated parts.

The basalt fiber direct roving of our company adopts the new pool kiln wire-drawing and is directly formed by 2400 hole large bushing. The product performance is excellent, the quality is stable, and the coefficient of dispersion is low.
Application
Suitable for extrusion, winding, weaving processes, LFT processes, twin screw direct extrusion processes, and various resin systems, to produce basalt fiber reinforced particles, and as reinforcement materials. Widely used in fields such as construction, pipelines, automobiles, electrical appliances, and high-temperature filtration.

Assembled Roving
Basalt fiber assembled Roving is a multi-end continuous roving. The strands of different spinning cakes are gathered into a single strand and wound into a cylindrical package without twist. Assembled roving consists of some strands drawn at the facility for production of continuous basalt fiber and then assembled together at assembling machines. Assembled roving can be produced at the bobbins of internal or external unwinding depending on customer requirements.

Gun Roving/Spray-up Roving
Basalt fiber gun-roving or spray-up roving is originally assembled basalt roving drawn with special sizing which make roving more rigid. Spray-up roving is specially designed to achieve excellent performance with polyester and vinyl ester resin spray up systems.
Expanded Roving

The basalt fiber roving is processed into a high-performance expanded roving machine to produce basalt fiber expanded roving. The forming principle is: high-speed air flow enters the forming and puffing channel to form turbulence, which is used to disperse basalt fibers and form loop-shaped fibers, thereby endowing basalt fibers with bulkiness and manufacturing expanded roving. After expansion, the surface area increases, resulting in a larger bonding area between the expanded roving and other materials.
Application field:

1) The fabric woven with expanded roving is relatively loose, has a good hand feel, and has strong coverage ability, making it suitable for manufacturing high resistance filter fabrics.

2) The luster is relatively harmonious, suitable for manufacturing fireproof curtain fabrics.

3) Using bulky yarn can weave a larger area of fabric with less fabric, resulting in reduced bulk density, looseness, and better performance.

4) The filter cloth woven from basalt fiber expanded roving is not only resistant to high temperature, acid and alkali, but also has a relatively small filtration resistance, greatly improving filtration efficiency, saving energy, and reducing costs. It has been widely used internationally.

5) Blended with expanded roving and continuous fibers, it has better tear resistance, elasticity, and wear resistance than other fabrics. It is the preferred material for coating asphalt, rubber, and plastic products, and is an excellent material for high-temperature filter cloth and high-grade needle felt.
