Basalt Fiber Cloth/Fabric

The basalt fiber cloth of our company adopts twisted or untwisted basalt continuous fibers as raw materials, and is woven with plain, twill and satin weaves. Divided into unidirectional cloth, bidirectional cloth and multi-directional cloth. Relying on the temperature resisitance, corrosion resistance, high strenght and modulus, and electrical insulation of basalt fiber, it is processed by hand lay-up, pultrusion, autoclave, vacuum introduction, winding, resin transfer and other processes, combined with unsaturated polyester resin (UP) or epoxy resin (EP). 

Basalt fiber cloth is a type of textile sheet material that has characteristics such as non flammability, flame retardancy, smokelessness, non conductivity, and high temperature resistance. In order to fully utilize the reinforcement effect of basalt fiber cloth, corresponding sizing agents are evenly coated on the monofilament. The mechanical properties of basalt fiber cloth: tensile strength>2000MPa, tensile modulus of elasticity>9GPa, elongation at failure>2.2%, alkali resistance (tensile strength retention rate)>75%

Plain Cloth
Basalt fiber plain weave fabric is a fabric with a plain weave weave made of high-strength basalt fibers, with warp and weft yarns interwoven every other yarn. Basalt fiber plain weave fabric has excellent properties such as non flammability, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, high strength, and insulation. Basalt fiber plain weave fabric has an alkali resistance of ≥ 75%, is waterproof, fireproof, high-temperature resistant, low temperature absorption, acid and corrosion resistant, and does not deform.

Twill Cloth
Basalt fiber twill fabric is a fabric woven from high-strength basalt fibers with two upper and lower twills and a 45 ° left diagonal weave. Compared with plain weave fabric, basalt fiber twill fabric has a high density and strength of warp and weft yarns, and a soft and loose fabric structure. It is suitable for reinforced material products with large thickness, as well as high-quality materials for air dust removal and filtration materials and silicone coated products.

Satin Cloth
Basalt fiber satin fabric is a type of fabric woven with high-strength basalt fibers, consisting of two adjacent warp or weft yarns with individual organizational points uniformly distributed but discontinuous. Compared with plain and twill fabrics, satin fabrics are fabrics with higher warp and weft yarn density and strength, as well as loose fabrics with good hand feel. They are suitable for making composite materials with high protective and mechanical properties.
